Dr. Shahriar Kabir Khan is a highly experienced ophthalmologist and general practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive eye care in Chittagong. With over two decades of medical experience, he has built a strong reputation for his clinical expertise, patient-focused approach, and commitment to advancing eye health in the community.

Dr. Khan completed his MBBS in January 2000 from the Institute of Applied Health Sciences (IAHS), University of Science and Technology, Chittagong (USTC). Following his internship (May 2000 – September 2001), he pursued further specialization in ophthalmology, completing a one-year PGT training as an Honorary Medical Officer in the Department of Ophthalmology at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH). He also completed a Diploma in Community Ophthalmology (DCO) academic course from the Institute of Community Ophthalmology, CEITC of BNSB Eye Hospital, and successfully passed the 1st part of the FICO examination under the ICO Board, London.

Throughout his career, Dr. Khan has served in multiple esteemed medical institutions, including Lions Eye Hospital & Institute, Chittagong, where he worked as Assistant Surgeon and Senior Medical Officer from 2002 to 2018. He has also contributed his expertise as an Eye Consultant at Father Boudreau Medical Center, Regency Garments Ltd (EPZ), Hathazari Eye Hospital, and Chittagong Diabetic and General Hospital.

Currently, Dr. Khan serves as an Eye Consultant for Seafarers at Ideal Pathology, Mustafa Plaza, Agrabad, offering specialized vision assessments and certification services for maritime professionals. Alongside this, he continues to serve the community through New Eye Care, providing accessible and quality eye care to patients of all ages.
